Official City Council and Committee Meetings

Major Construction and Traffic Advisories

Significant infrastructure projects continue to impact traffic flow throughout Marion County this week. Drivers should plan for delays in the following areas:

• Clear Path 465: Construction on the northeast side remains active, with intermittent lane and ramp restrictions on I-465 and I-69 as crews work toward the summer completion of the reconfigured interchange.
• IndyGo Blue Line: Major utility work and storm sewer construction continue along Washington Street. Westbound traffic on Southeastern Avenue is subject to detours, while portions of Washington Street near Belmont Avenue remain restricted to maintain local access.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has extended the public comment period regarding the proposed permanent closure of the Indianapolis Downtown Heliport. Residents now have until February 26, 2026, to submit feedback on the transition of this 5.36-acre site from aeronautical to non-aeronautical use.
