Tickets open Feb. 3 for the Indianapolis Zoo’s signature conservation fundraiser

Tickets for Zoobilation 2026, the Indianapolis Zoo’s annual black-tie fundraising event, are scheduled to go on sale Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 9 a.m. The event is set for Friday, June 12, 2026, with festivities spanning from early evening into midnight and the Zoo closed to general public admission for the occasion.

Zoobilation is positioned as the Zoo’s largest single-day fundraiser and a major source of philanthropic support for animal care and conservation work. The Zoo operates as a privately run nonprofit and relies on events and donations to help fund its mission, including the daily care of its animal collection and plant holdings as well as conservation initiatives.

Pricing, purchase limits and what’s included

For 2026, general admission tickets are listed at $275 for Zoo members and $300 for non-members. A Premium Experience tier is priced at $575 for members and $600 for non-members. The Zoo indicates member-rate purchases are capped at four tickets per person, with an overall limit of eight tickets per person.

The Premium Experience is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m., ahead of the general admission entry window, which starts at 7 p.m. and runs until midnight. The Premium Experience description includes early access, priority parking, an arrival gift and access to a private, air-conditioned indoor space within the Ascension St. Vincent Dolphin Pavilion, along with themed food, beverages and activities. Premium Experience guests are also described as having opportunities for animal interactions tied to the event’s conservation focus.

  • On-sale time: Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026, at 9 a.m.

  • Event date: Friday, June 12, 2026

  • Premium Experience: 5:30 p.m. start

  • General admission: 7 p.m. to midnight

Sponsorship demand signals a constrained supply

The Zoo has already reported corporate sponsorships, dens and tables as sold out for 2026—an early indicator that a sizable portion of event participation is allocated through organizational packages rather than individual ticket sales. Prior years have also shown rapid sellouts for Zoobilation, reflecting a recurring pattern of high demand for limited-capacity access to the Zoo grounds during the closed-to-the-public evening.

Zoobilation 2026 is scheduled for Friday, June 12, with ticket sales opening at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3.

What to expect on Zoo grounds

Zoobilation is structured as a multi-site experience across the Zoo campus, combining live entertainment, food and beverage service and event programming distributed throughout the property. The Zoo’s 2026 theme is listed as “Tropical Nights,” with sponsors attached to major event elements, including a presenting sponsor, entertainment support and the Premium Experience.

For attendees, the key logistical considerations will likely be the early morning on-sale timing, purchase limits tied to membership status, and the separation between the Premium Experience and general admission entry windows.
