Transportation Alert: IndyGo Route 8 Detours
IndyGo continues to implement significant detours for Route 8 due to ongoing Blue Line infrastructure improvements and road closures along Washington Street. Commuters should take note of the following active restrictions:
- Belmont to Harding: Washington Street remains closed between Belmont Avenue and Harding Street. Westbound stops 50758, 50756, 50753, and 50885 are closed. Temporary stops have been established at the intersections of Washington/Harding and Washington/Belmont.
- Southeastern to State: A full closure of Washington Street from Southeastern Avenue to State Avenue is in effect. Route 8 buses are utilizing Southeastern and State avenues as primary detour routes.
